Default Kenwood iPod Adapter acting funny?

I just plugged my iPod adapter back into my head unit, it's around KCA-IP800 or something like that I forget. Instead of the iPod playing into my Headunit, my head unit acts like a controller for my iphone. I use to plug my iphone into the radio all the time and it worked fine. But now the headunit is acting like a remote, and the music plays FROM my iphone! Any ideas?

Try to reset the headunit. Also make sure none of the pins are bent when you installed it. I'll take a look at it when I see you
