95 accord 2dr

Speaker on front passenger door is broken.. how do I take this thing out? And is it safe to leave the wires hanging until I get new speakers?

 

Take out screw in door handle and in door pull. Door handle will slide forward and allow you to unhook the connecting rod. Also disconnect all wires from their plugs. Don't forget the little courtesy light at the bottom. Door is held on with the plastic clips and all you have to do is pull it off. Once the inside panel is taken off you can see the speaker and removal should be self explanatory. Install is reverse. Remember to make sure you here the door clips "snap" back into place.

 

and yes you can leave the wires hanging just make sure to tape them up or something so they dont touch and pop a fuse
