I did a search, and there were a bunch of idle related items, but nothing quite like this that I could find:

When the car is cold and it's doing the fast idling, it'll start at, say, 2000, and over the span of 3 or 4 seconds, it drops to 1700ish where it catches itself and goes immediately up to 2000 again. This repeats a bunch of times, but once the fast idle is finished, everything is normal and steady.

So, is this the fast idle valve? Is that in the throttle body, or someplace else? Any help would be appreciated.
