Default D16A6 block with a Y7 head my timing belt doesn't fit????

hey everyone i am new to this forum but i just did a head swap on my 1990 si and i threw a Y7 head on my A6 block and my timing belt did not fit it's to big as well as two head studs they are to long but i just added another washer to fix that problem if that works?? anyways, i was just wondering what timing belt i should be using for the A6-Y7 head swap?

thanks

Graham

hmmm, well assuming the dimensions are the same for a y7 as a y8 then you should be able to use the belt i used. which is a d15b7 belt from a 92-95 civic dx/lx. as far as using washers for the head bolts, that sounds really sketchy at best. i know with the y8 head i used all a6 bolts except for the one on the back of the engine nearest to the dizzy. i had to use a y8 head bolt there and it worked perfectly.
