my AEM hybrid fits great with my B16 swap.. I dont know about your specific intake manifold though... and its not carb legal..
I was htinking of buying an AEM for one of our cars that IS carb legal just for the sticker.. may sound overkill but I think it will avoid problems down the road..
also .. as to be expected... you do have to modify the engine bay (make the hole for the down tube bigger) Fits snug though!!
hope this helps

Its all still there, box has been opened but thats it. Its for a B swap in an ED/EF, and that covers sedan or hatch or crx. With the battery in the stock location.

Exactly the same as this one--with the carb sticker

on the box? usually the carb sticker is a foil sticker that you put on the intake itself in the engine bay..

im kinda curious how your hybrid intake is CARB legal when AEM says this:
taken from AEMpower.com
"Since we design our Hybrid intakes for cars with engine swaps, they are intended for off-road use only and are not 50-state legal."

"Hybrid air induction system. 1988-1991 Honda Civic/crx with b-series. Excluding B18C1. Powder coated titanium look. *Legal in California only for racing vehicles which may never be used upon a highway."
in order to stay legal in cali. you have to get an "aem" (or whatever legal brand you decide to go with) that is carb legal for the motor that is in your car. or what ever your car is BAR'ed or Reff'ed with.
ex....
91 crx w/B18A1---------AEM intake for 90-93 LS
89 HB w/B16A3---------AEM intake for 93-95 DEL SOL VTEC
see what im getting at? this of course is to stay smog legal in cali. outside of cali....get whatever you can make fit int your car, LOL.

I get the idea thanks, from what I have been reading the AEM hybrid intake has a 3 in. piping but is not carb legal
Does anyone know what the piping size is for the AEM CAI or for the AEM V2? IO couldn't find that info on their website. I would really appreciate it if you have either intake and bust out the measuring tape and measure it for me or should I say for us people on Honda-tech that are curious.

If you are planning on getting the car BAR'd in Ca you will need the CAI from a Del Sol VTEC as previously stated. You cannot use one for any other vehicle as it will not match when looked up by a ref at the BAR.
IMO you should just get that one as it leaves you the option to get it BAR'd (if you decide to) without getting another intake.

If i decide not to stick with a carb legal intake, What would be the best intake set up for me? For a daily driven car, I don't want to daily drive a velocity stack...
