Default Help

Around how much horsepower would a b20 block with a b16 head and a gsr tranny make???

Also does that sound like a good setup for 2200...?

there's no sense in giving him a hard time, I mean he was just asking a ? and was stating what he wanted.

From what I have been researching the b20z's are JDM motors and everything, I havn't really done too much researhing on them though.

The vtec coming in would be from whatever it is set at on ur ECU...

A B16 swap would be a little cheaper.. Its according to what you're really wanting..

ok Hmotorsonline.com will have what your looking for
if you put a b16 head on it you will have VTEC with the right ecu and tuning
and no you shouldnt just go b16 unless you plan on some boost after you swap in the motor(IMO b16s are just like a d series until VTEC)aka no bang for your buck

i wasnt giving him a hard time i was just asking him what he knew and then i would be able to help him out

If you're wanting the most power then yeah, you should take it to a dyno and have them tune it for u.

Or you can buy a chipped ECU and have someone burn a chip for you.. It just won't be anything like having it tuned.. It would def. be better to go to the dyno.
