Has anyone else noticed this on the TigerJapanese website? Has any other importer sold them this way before or do you think they build them in-house?

looks like a greddy kit on a b series to me...i wouldnt just drop it in and drive it like you stole it....it prolly doesnt have upgraded injectors or an ecu with a tune...i would be sketched out on buying something like that
Not enough information to make a descission.
But on the surface of it, looks like a $1200 jdm engine with a $1200 turbo kit and cool $1k profit.
No mention of an engine rebuild at all.
I wouldn't buy it no matter how pretty it looks.

The fact that they have numerous typos and wrong info on their website makes them sketchy to me. They are selling engines for THOUSANDS of dollars and they have typos and wrong info?!?!
I wouldn't buy a dipstick from them.

I have persoanlly dealt with tiger japanesse before for my current motor. WHile they sell legitimate products and services, they do have odd and mis-informed people that work in that company. ALso, their customer service is just awful.
Well when I bought my JDM h22a a couple of months ago, it was accurately described, looked great, customer service was the best I've had across the internet, shipping was very reasonable, and it shipped out very fast. Took it less than 2 weeks from time of purchase to time of arrival.

yea. my friend ordered a B18 and when i got there we checked it and then swapped it on his EK and IT DIDNT RUN!
so we checked everything and still nada!
so we decided to rebuild it just for the fun of it and to check it everything was good and to our amazement the engine was blown.
but we fixed it and swapped out parts on it(pistons, rods, cam, etc)
now it hauls A$$

No they are not really Japanese. LOL. They are Canadians tigerjapanese is located in canada. They do ship fast and their prices are low, but they have screwed me twice. The first engine i bought was a b18 and that one was in great clean looking condition except the distrubitor was broken. I also ordered a 3vzfe motor and that sucker had a wrong tranny on it(different year 3vzfe) but the point is if they are at falt they will make you cover it yourself.
