? for si's with foglights
can you guys show me where your switch is located??
cuz im thinking of buying the yellow foglight kit from either robear or pwjdm (most likely pwjdm since theyre close) and im curious as to where the switch would go.
cuz i cant fit it near my mirror and vsa button so i would just like to know where its placed. thanks

Well I see you have an 08 and only the 06 didn't have the VSA so you need to get a new switch assembly for the lights and turn signals..but anyways when you replace it you will turn it like your headlights to turn on your fog lights..

not to sound rude or anyhting but why would you wire it up the ghetto way? the car is already prewired for fogs and when you buy the foglights they come with the harnesses you're just making it harder for yourself doing it the ghetto way? the newer switch location is on the headlight stalk. if you really wanted to you could replace the switch with your own and relocate it but here is no other place that is OEM to put the switch but the stalk.

it's still a different button it's just located further down the stalk. there are now 2 turn switch things on the stalk rather then one ont he 2006's

I wasn't trying to come off as a douche. but if you did any searching or reading up on it or even take one look at a DIY for it (which there are tons of) it will tell you that all civics come prewired. there is a plug that if you take off your bumper it's behind the windshield wash tank. it plugs directly into the harness that comes with the fogs. and the other end of that wire is under your dashboard about 4 inches north of the brake pedal.
I forget what color the wire is but it's a brown plug that is wrapped in blue tape. i bought my fogs from ebay and it took me maybe 45 mins to install without cutting or drilling anything besides the bumper it is all plug and play. i prolly spent 40 of those mins cutting the damn bumper. ( having your dremel die on you FTL) hoe that helps you.

What in Lancaster, Pennsylvania would lead you to believe you know what is ghetto?

I don't mean to jack the thread, but where is the fog switch for the 07 sedans? I have the wiring diagrams for the 08, but its switch is actually a sleeve on the signal stalk. Is it possible to wire the fogs to come on with only the corner lights with this setup?

Yes...there is a DIY for it on H-T and/or the 8th.

I dont need to be from some big city to know a hack wiring job when i see it. what does have to do with anything? you're taking the term ghetto in a different context. when I use GHETTO rig. I mean one that is not wired up the way it should but in a way that is either unsafe or just straight shitty.
btw i moved to philly two years ago and now i'm currently living in DC so I have an "idea" what ghetto is.

Yo, just stick the switch in that little cubbie below you're VSA. Put it on the top of the cubbie and make it so the button is facing down. (hope this makes sense) You have to make the hole tho. Using a dremel is the best way My friend has an 07 and thats what he did. Dosent look ghetto at all.

go to college hills honda site. you know what never mind here it is right here http://www.collegehillshonda.c...t.pdf this is the link from honda with instructions. i am not going to read it but it might have the instructions for putting it as a button near where my vsa is and one like mine where it is on the turn signal stalk but either way this is how honda reccommends installing it.

the only diff would be running your harness to a button instead of to the fuse box, because from the fuse box it goes to a relay then to the stalk
