Default cleaning gsr head

how would i go about cleaning up my gsr head that has carbon deposit around the valves which is cause problems with hp

i dont think you can hot tank aluminum? i just always used soap and hot water when i need to clean my block or head. there is some kind of acid you can use, its like puruvic or something

you can hot tank aluminum not cast iron. works like a champ comes out like brand new again.

Merely cleaning the head and valves won't do much for restoring lost power if the valve seats and valves are pitted or bent and not making a perfect seal. Take the head to a machine shop and get a valve job and install new seals at the least.
