Default For those of you with an upgraded valvetrain!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a few questions for those of you with aftermarket cams/springs/
retainers/valves/gears etc.

1. What setup did you use?

2. How much money did it end up costing you?

3. How much of a HP gain did you get from it?

Thanks for the info fellas

BTW: I'm pretty sure sure I'm gonna go with the s2 pro1 cams.
I'm still deciding on the rest of the valvetrain though.

Why not just use the S2 Pro valvetrain?

The Pro1's are a midrange cam, Pro2's are more top-end. Per Tom/Tbone: the primaries on the Pro1's are bigger than on the Pro2's.

Crower S2-A, Brian Crower springs and retainers.

Something like $4500 or so. Something like $1000 for the cams and crap...~3500 for the new engine.

Cams were worth 5hp. But once they obliterated the exhaust VTEC rockers and I got a new engine, I guess 15hp or so overall.

I probably will end up using the s2 pro valvetrain, not cheap though

I've seen some awesome numbers with the pro1's from people on here,
plus I have a stock bottom end.
