MDX Idle issue

question--MDX making noise when trying to maintain current speed
I have a 2001 MDX and when I try to maintain my current speed, I get this rumbling noise until I either give it gas or let up on the accelorator. At one time someone told me it was my idle sensor. Does that sound right?
