00 civic a/c promblems and power window problem

Default 00 civic a/c promblems and power window problem

A/C

hoping so one could help me with my problems.. first of all the a/c it blows warm but has no leaks i recharged it and still warm, but when i turn the a/c on the car idles wierd. and also when i turn it up all the way the blower makes noises.. what could my problems be ???

WINDOWS

and for the windows the drive side rolls almost all the way up untill it just doesnt go, so i took off the door pannels and notice that the big gear connected to i guess the motor is missing teeth how do i take that out to change?????

is your compressor clutch working when you turn your a/c on?

ok. first start your car and look at your air compressor, you will see that your belt runs on it. On that pully there is a seperate wheel on it. thats the clutch for your a/c. next turn on your a/c and put it on high. then look at the compressor. that clutch should be spinning. if not your compressor is bad

if your not sure if the compressor is cycling you should find a reputable shop and have the system looked at.
your window regulator is damaged and will need to be replaced which is a pretty simple task just be careful as the regulator maybe be binding if im not mistaking the 00 did not have the dreaded finger snatcher spring so you should be safe.

after you remove the door panel you will see the regulator and the 10mm bolts holding the unit on the door. unplug the motor and loosen the 2 screws holding the window to the regulator and then slide carefully remove the window from the track by tilting the window forward and the lifting it out. then proceed to remove the remaining bolts and install in the revers order.you will see the bolt in the pic posted.
