misfiring z6

Default misfiring z6

so i have changed my fuel filter put fuel injector cleaner threw it. change my spark plugs there gap to 40mm. my timing is correct. i notice when it does misfire my rpm jumps down. i did a ohm test on my spark plug wires there still good and i change my dizzy cap and button not but 2 months ago. what else think it could be??

check and see if one of the wires are carbon tracked!!!! this will allow the wire to pass a resistance check and still misfire..... look in the spark plug end inside and outside the boot and see if you can see what looks like lightning... try pulling each wire while the car is running to isolate what cylinder it is....

well my g\f has a z6 and it runs fine so i did swap spark plug wires and its still doing it. i also took each wire off and they all made it run ruff each one i took out.

Hope you swapped the spark plugs for recomended honda types, I've had missfire problems with platinum tips and it seems small honda engines prefere the old style fat tip plugs. TRy cleaning up the old ones, gap em to 35 thou. and try it.
