A friend of mine recently picked up a 91 Integra, and we're in the process of getting into working order. Last night we were looking at the VSS/speedo cable housing and noticed the two hose fittings that come off the top of it. I've seen a few pictures online where they have short little hoses that are capped off on them, but his are just open. What are these for? And if anybody knows that, can we just cap them off or do they need to be routed somewhere?
Lookos like this, only he doesn't have any hose on his.

I dont exactly know what they are for but im guessing they are supose to lube somethig in there. I know that power steering fluid goes thru there. I know a few people that took the power steering off their car and pluged those hoses. After doing that the speedo still worked fine.

Ah-ha! I thought that's what they might have been. That makes sense because the guy he got it from took all the power steering stuff off the car. Everything except the rack, at least. Cool, we'll just plug 'em up and move on. Thanks!
