Do you know from experiance?

depends what you want. if you want a reliable Point A to Point B car, get the base.
if you want a decently quick, equally reliable, and a nicer car get the type S

I hate threads like these. What's more suitable for me? Base or a more redefined model, the Type-S? Come on, it's fairly easy to answer that question yourself. No need for reassurance.
Ask yourself: 1) What are your goals? 2) Will I be using this simply to just get from Point A to Point B? 3) Etc.

I hear you on this... it is a little strait forward when you think about it...

It really depends on plans, which makes a thread like this pointless.
If you're asking what kind of potential you can get out of the K20A3, the answer is some.
The K20A2 has more, it's at another level. Definately the NA motor of choice.
Personally I can't stand buying anything less than the top model trim of any car offered.
