I see no problem unless that is someone else doing that to your car.

 

Dude its a car, whether it be a ferrari or a civic, I'd have no problem putting my shoe on it as long as it was MY car. There is much more damaged to be caused by rock chips driving on the beltway than a temporary foot print that can be wiped off..
