plz help i swear i cant find the cel code
okay i have a 93 cx hatch with a d15b7 in it manual transmission as well as matching d15b7 ecu..
i have a cel code or atleast it says i do.. i jumped the connector like u are supose to but when trying to count the flashes all it does is flash on and off in 4 second intervals and never stops or has a longer pause.. iv sit watching this thing for 10 minutes now and it never restarted or paused longer then before...i can count 1 1000 ,2 1000, 3 1000, 4 1000 between intervals..
everytime i look up the code it dosent exist and i have no idea what it is iv checked and cleaned and replaced everything that could be at fault

ekhonda87 is right the 1 second flash would be cel-10~ IAT, n the 1/2 second is cel-1~ o2 sensor, the long pause in between is the cycle, if no more codes are present it cycles the same code. The AutoZone scanners are obd2 and as far as i know they don't do it any more. u are doing it right wit the jumper.
question... when u re-set the ecu how long does it take for the cel to come back on?

yes i understand how the codes work but every flash is longer then 1 second and there are no fast flashes .. i even unpluged other stuff to see if it would flash right and it does. and after i reset the ecu the code comes back almost immediatly.
i swear if i had a cam i wuld video tape it. i think it might be the white plug on the back of the intake manifold.. if i unplug it the code dosent change or flash a different one. it has 2 wires going to it and 1 of em is green.
but the code never recycles each and every flash for as long as u want to watch is the same

okay and today now it is extremely hard to get it to rev over 3k.. it will but it takes a century.. and now my oil light is on but the sensor is hooked up and the oil is full..
could i be dealing with a faulty ecu? if it was wouldnt the cel just stay on instead of flash?

okay i took a video of it this isint the full thing cause my cell only takes 15sec videos.. but the spacing is the same for all the flashes no matter how long u watch it and it never ends<object width="425" height="350"> <param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/NGUbeZw00DQ"> </param> <embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/NGUbeZw00DQ" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"> </embed> </object>

Most auto stores can only read OBDII for free. OBDI is a little different and they don't usually have the connectors for it.

Yes, we do.
The video looked like one long flash to me. So, 10.

i think NOFX is correct, after watching the vid, i would definitely call that a 10. Also, the white plug on the back of the in-man wit 2 phillips screws in it that u referred to is the IAT. BTW AutoZones around here don't pull codes any more, they won't even let u do it yourself. I guess its a local thing.
