95 civic looses all electrical power while driving. Please help!
I Was Driving My 1995 Honda Civic 2 Door Coupe With 235 000 Miles On The Clock, When Suddenly The Battery Light On The Dash Began To Blink For A Few Seconds Then Went Off. A Few Minutes Later It Came Back On Again And Stayed On. About 20 Minutes Later I Noticed That The Interior Display Lights Began To Grow Dim, Then The Speedometer
Stopped Working Completely And Just Stayed At Zero. I Also Noticed That The Engine Heat Gauge Stopped Working As Well, And I Suspect The Fuel Gauge As Well. The Millage Counter Even Stopped Moving. The Display Lights Grew Dimmer As Minutes Went By And Then I Noticed That My Headlights Started To Grow Dimmer. Soon, None Of The Lights Works, The Turn Signal Indicator Lights In The Display Did Not Even Work And When I Would Switch The Headlights On The Car Would Falter As If Not Getting Enough Power. Soon, Nothing Worked, And It Was Completely Dark Inside And Out; No Lights Worked, Not Even The Fan Worked. The Car Still Moved Though, Somehow, And Boy Was I Glad That I Was Not Far From Home. And To Make Matters Worse, It Was At Night. When I Got Home I Parked The Car And Switched It Off, Then Tried Starting It Again And It Would Not Start, It Appears That The Battery Was Completely Dead. Can Anybody Help Me Determine What The Problem Is. Is The Alternator Bad? I'd Really appreciate Your Help. Thanks...

ide say thats the alternator but u said u kept driving with no power?? thats awkward ide pull the alternator and have it tested.
The following has info on the alternator system that might help: http://honda.lioness.googlepag...rtips .
If your alternator is near ten years old, be considering new brushes or a whole new alternator.
