Ok this may sound real dumb. But I'm real lost with these I guess chasie codes.. I know Ek is 96-00 and eg is 92-95. But I see people posting pics saying ej1 or something and its shows a EG or em1.. Anyone has a list or pics of those codes?? Sorry I didn't search my sidekick is acting dumb. I don't even know if this post went threw untill I go home from work.

Lots of people generalize by saying;

EF = '88-'91 Civic
EG = '92-'95 Civic
EK = '96-'00 Civic

Sometimes they say that only counts for hatches, but the list linked above will explain a lot better. Keep in mind that the short abbreviate above is incorrect information and is just a generalization people use. There are no real EFs in the US, the only EGs we have here are del Sols and sedans, and there are no real EKs in the US (an EK can be a hatch or a sedan btw).

5G (1991-1995) Models:

EG3 (1.3L SOHC non-VTEC 3 door)
