NOOB WITH A 89 SEDAN
Whats good fam! I just got my first car every and i always wanted a civic, and here it is. I've had it for about 2months now and i just tinted the windows and put new 15" rims and tires on it. i wanna go all out on this car so i just put an viper car alarm with the remote that has a lil pic of the car on it that shows the door opening when some one is breaking in. i found this site by messing around with youtube and google. i been looking for help on how to hook this car up and lookin for ideas on the internet. i still need to get ridd of some rust thats by the rear tire area. i wanna get new lights "The halos" and new tale lights too... all the info i found is from the internet...and this has been the best site i've seen by faaaar, one last thing... If there is anybody out there in NYC that can show me some spots get at me. and anybody on this site give me ideas also what i can do...i also want to repaint the car a different color
pretty sweet ride there i like it. have you checked into the jdm scene. they do some nice things to the cars with basically stock parts and it really cleans up the cars.
ive gotten alot of ideas from my buddy who finally convinced me to buy a honda and i found this https://honda-tech.com/zero...77459 i like what this guy does and its mostly all jdm style. i just dont agree with the color and some of the rims but its still sweet.

Good potential.
I love the apartment complex in the background.
haha
It makes the photo trippy.

raid any local junkyards and look for the hatch version of your four door but an SI, the seats should bolt up directly (if you get the same year via 88-90 or 90-91) booya, bucket seats...
slap on a front lip (also can be found at your local junkyard, pre-88 integra front lips fit, any MK3 (92-96 or something?) golf/jetta front lip, or even an SI lip from a hatch.. then put a suspension and SLAM that biyatch... good thing you got 15" wheels, any bigger is pointless and (IMO) ugly.. and would also prevent you from slamming..
also, stay away from halo/euro/altezza style lights, RICE =
, these cars are getting rarer by the moment (ESPECIALLY clean ones) and the last thing you want to do is ruin it's authentic-ness with cheap ugly "look at that ricer" lights.. get some amber corners for the front, and just sand and plastic-wax the rear lights, keep it clean man...
hope you show that EF lots of love..
BTW check this thread out on a proper restoration on an EF sedan:

Rayzian...I checked out that link you put up... WOW
that was increable how he restored that EF!! that was really amazing!! I'm guessing when you guys say "SLAM" that means drop the car and make it lower to the ground...lol. I'm gonna do that after the winter....because the snow out here in New York gets bad and i don't know how that will affect the car, so i'm gonna wait till spring to paint it and "SLAM"
it. lol. i'm gonna look into that "lip" you said also....and you think that halo/euro/altezza style lights are bad for head lights?? I dont like em for tail light at all....so keep the authentic-ness you say....sounds good to me.....one last question.....whats JDM....i was told to look into that

Looks like my cars twin
I'm using the Skunk2 lowering springs and LCA's with tokico HPs (blue). I really liked the drop the Skunk2 springs gave me, its not too low but still gives it an agressive look......I highly recommend them, good look with the car
