I've been lurking around for awhile on this site and decided to finally register today.
I've been n the market for quite sometime for some coilovers. I have looked into the Tein, Ksport, D2's and a few others.
I was doing a search on here looking for people response on said coilovers when I read about the AMR Engineering coilovers. I didn't finish reading the thread( read to about page 15) but am very interested in them.
Since I'm new for all of the people that use them how are they for dd and also lowered cars?
So, how are the different spring rates that some of you are riding on for the daily commute(if your still using it for dd)??

1996 Accord Ex, f22b1, no engine mods or boost. I actually started working on my suspension 1st so I have to finish this part before I can move on.

Just started reading the AMR thread in the suspension forum, looks like a pretty legit company, and the price seems to be right. They also do custom valving and spring rates (exclusively custom, they do not have standard setups for any given vehicle), which sounds very enticing.
Its really too bad I dont have the money to drop on suspension right now, cause I just might be convinced to head their way

I don't post much on here anymore since we are no longer a site sponsor. We use to be for many years, and this is our old thread. Have a look for yourself. I was well known on the accord forums since I have owned a honda accord since 1998. I am sorry, but this user Putang has been banned on many many sites, as well as been harrasing my company for over a year. I'm not quite sure what he is doing on here to begin with since he was banned on honda-tech as well. Just to let you know, he was never a customer, and we actually kicked him off a groupbuy because of poor communication on his part. He has been ticked off ever since. Forget to mention that? Also did you forget to mention you have been banned from the saturn forums??? There is a reason for that people!!

If you have questions feel free to just e-mail us and get it from the horses mouth, I think that's how the saying goes. We offer a lifetime warranty on our product, and I do have accord coilovers in stock, other than the 6th gen. We have to machine the top mounts for the 6th gen accord to complete them, and that is what were working on right now.

If you actually saw the coilovers then you would know they are not AMR Engineering coilovers. They were a set of coilovers we were testing for another company in which hired us to help develop there line. Jayme agreed to be the test mule, and we even refunded his money without hesitation. As I said, he is local, and I know him. So get your facts straight. He didn't loose anything, other than the time we took when testing them. That's all.

As I said, I guarentee our work, and I back up the ride quality of my product. Also I do have the product in stock, other than the 6th gen. I have all the parts for the 6th gen, just not the top mounts. We are going to make them as soon as we can. Right now we are not taking any custom orders, but are taking orders for parts that have been machined and are in stock which include the accord. We are moving into a new location here in Vancouver, WA. The place we are going to move fell through, but all is well because we found something better which requires me not to move, and I can keep my current staff. If you have any questions just send us a e-mail or give us a call. As I said, I don't post much at all or have too much time for that matter to go on the message boards these days. Been talking to Andy for a bit via PM and I definitely believe he's legit and told me about their product line.

i purchased a set nearly two years ago right before thanksgiving in 06 when they were the red color coilovers and a very attractive price. i rarely drive my ride due to other issues now, not because of the coilovers. haven't had a problem with them yet. the fact that they were warranted for life sold me as well as others. they are customized when you order. not of the shelf. Andy was very cool and informative when i talked to him. i never heard of the brand either til i came across the thread on here. i reserached like 3 other brands and choose this one. haven't been let down yet.
okay. so maybe you had a bad experience. many others haven't. i will admit that it took an extra 2 weeks for my product to arrive. andy was out of town and his staff didn't get my order out on time. but when andy return, i got my product a week later. lets put it in perspective here. amr is like ebay. a good seller that sold 1000 and had 3 negative responses. 97% of the people had a easy transaction. no company is going to be perfect. you have to realize that one takes a chance when buying on the internet, yet alone a car forum and not their actually website. as far as the flaming back and forth, how would you like it if you were nagged constantly. at some point, someone is going to break and get very angry. i'd start cussing and getting frank as well. just my thought.

His merchant produced a double authorization that happesn sometimes, but he was charged once by us, and once only. By the way, here is the batch report which I supplied to the customer just for his peace of mind. As you can see, no double charges, and the charges that are for the same amount are from different cards!! Same amount, different customer. Don't mind the date on this. I know you well enough putang that you will try to say some B.S. about the date. Our CC machine at the time was unplugged, and the date was not updated. That should not matter anyway, but in putangs world, it sure as hell might.

I have a HUGE workload for both our coilovers as well as our custom fabricated parts. I don't twist my customers arms to order from us, nor do I force them to wait. I just want to see a full working website, I heard about amr before but only through forums. Need to get a site up homie! Didn't know you offered strut bars, if you had a site I would know
putang you do realize business licenses are public record? And you can very easily look it up yourself? I just did it the other day for some random company in Florida to track down a guy someone was looking for. And you can't ever please everyone so your comment of "everyone is happy" is out of context as his statement was "he has a list of happy customers"
