i was thinkin about gettin one of those 2step rev limiters. you can pretty much leave your foot on the gas and get good launches with em. it sounds cool, too! i would like some feedback on your experiences with the 2step. all you guys runnin boosted tegs, your feedback is needed if you have one of these! did it help you launch better? i figured the turbo would be spoolin like crazy and the power would be off the hook once you launched. the digital 6 ignition control that my friend is runnin with NOS seems to help him pretty damn good off the line.

 

i got one , its sweet dude. makes alot more accurate launches, plus for boost prob easier to stay in boost off the line

if your serious about racing, you have to have a 2 step. perfect launches all the time. on a good day, i will have between a 1.69-1.75 60 ft all day long with a 2 step. its very consistent and its retard proof!!

is the 2step an add on to the MSD line of ignition boxes? I have the 6a and it has an extra wire sticking out right next to the tach signal wire, is that an extra outlet for accesories like this?

 

you need a 6AL with the built in revlimter.

not fully retard proof. . . this dude at etown at summerslam said he forgot to let go of the button after launching

i activate mine with a NOS switch, everyone thinks that im squeezing

 

engine goes to the lower rpm limiter, Sorta like a Hondata setup.

Now for the next project, a Line lock installed on the clutch line.

Release button and your GONE!

there is no tuning for the digital 6 plus. i think the digital 7 plus programable needs to be programed

 

what exactly is a "nos switch" , i hope your talking about the coiled push button?

 

where can i get a cheap msd 6al and msd 2-step? any sites or stores that you recommend? how much does those 2 step costs?

I'm running a digital6 in my B16a ef. I want to know the technique to using the digital6 at the track. When launching on the streets i release/ turn off the 2step once the car is moving. My car hooks up pretty decent on the streets with that technique. I tried using that technique at the track with slicks and my car just bogged? Can someone please explain thier techinique with the 2 step at the track. Thanks

 

Hey can you please explain how you hooked it up to your clutch. I just got my 2step and are getting ready to install. What is the best way to do it on a all motor track only CRX. Line lock to your tranny tell me more!!!!!!

 

guys with digital 6plus.....do you guys still need to buy those rpm modules to use your built in 2-step rev-limiter to set the rpms? or no need?

With guys with 6al and have acquired a seperate 2-step/3step rev limiters.........you guys still has to buy those rpm modules to activate the rev limiter,right?

Mista Bone: Man Id be careful setting that up!!! Over ride switches everywhere!!! Imagine punching the clutch for 4th and the line lock activating
