is there a downside to gettin 205 50 15 tires with my stock rims instead of goin with the stock fitment of 195 55 15? just wanna make sure it wont mess up my 1/4 times. im gettin ready for a CMI battle next month.

 

actually, youll prob get higher traps. . . not by much , but by a little

 

the slightly shorter tire wall will give you slightly better gearing i.e. put a bit more power to the ground, hence slighty better acceleration.

but, you will not notice it because it's still all driver at this point if the ONLY thing your concerned with is tire size & not traction, power, ect.
