Any way I want extend this transmission to max so the guy at monroe said, "if he put in new fuild my trans would go shock.
I wanted to put honda original fuild. would that cause the same????

the garage you had your transmission fluid serviced probably uses that generic sorry *** fluid they sell at autoparts stores ... honda trans fluid has different additives designed for honda transmissions ... i dont know what it means for a transmission to go "shock" but regaurdless that tranny is probably toast ... its worth a try and if all fails throw some lucas transmission stop slip in there
I've always been a strong proponent of changing not only the transmission fluid, but the Brake Fluid and Clutch Fluid if so equipped) periodically.
The thing about Honda transmissions is that there is no provisions for draining the Torque Converter; where a good deal of the tranmission's fluid resides.
Honda suggests a proceedure whereas three drain/refills make up the service.
I suggest a transmission flush. It not only changes ALL the fluid at one time, but it cleans out a lot of oxidation particulates which can effect shift performance.
As to your observation of up/down shifting on the highway (if I understand u correctly) MAY indicate it's dropping out of lock-up, downshifting or doing some other funky thing. I'd start by confirming that the Transmission was properly refilled. I've seen low fluid cause some strange symptoms

yup i agree flushing out fluids is the correct way to go when servicing your car ... but most people dont want to spend the extra money ... they dont think about the future and how its worth it because it will help extend the life of their cars
well thanks. But, has anyone been in the same situation being, that I've changed the fuild at 75,000miles with generic fuild. Then now at 130,000 miles want change it agian.
All I got was to do an flush in order to remove the old stuff. I beilve that mechanic was talking baout simply changing the fuild with their genric stuff. Though, he said by doing so the transmission could run more problems/???//

All I can relate is what has worked for me and those I advise.
In the case of Honda Transmissions, I recommend ONLY HONDA ATF.
You can choose one of three routes:
1) Drain & Refill (not Honda recommended)
2) Multi drain & Refill (Honda recommended) or
3) Flush and refill
BG manufactures the flush machine to just about all manner of shops, you should have no problem finding on to do it for you. A Honda specialty shop would be best sinse he would most likely stock Honda ATF.
