86 CRX HF..... WHAT IS THE BEST MOTOR TO PUT IN?
I HAVE THE CHANCE TO BUY A STRAIGHT BODY CRX FOR 500 BUCKS. IT JUST DOESNT HAVE A MOTOR AND I'M WONDERING WHAT THE BEST/EASIEST MOTOR WOULD BE TO HAVE PUT IN THERE. CAN YOU GUYS GIVE ME AN IDEA OF WHAT I NEED TO GET A HOLD OF PLEASE??? THANKS FOR THE HELP

it honestly depends on your skills of working on a car. if you really want fuel injection, you'll need to add all the wires, fuel lines, new pump, DO the motor install and such. not really for beginners.

what kind of swaps have you done? whats the time frame? whats the budget? my buddy had a b16 in his 86' crx, with hasport mounts though...little freaker was fast at 10psi...
IMO, an Si longblock and trans with some dual sidedraft carbs will be the easiest to do an provide a great deal of thrust in that light shell.
