Well... there's this one:
ACT HEAVY DUTY RACE CLUTCH KIT
This Heavy Duty Race kit includes a 6 puck ceramic clutch disc with a heavy duty pressure plate. Torque capacity: 356 lb/ft Best suited for highly modified race turbo/nitrous modified Accords
or this one:
ACT EXTREME DUTY RACE CLUTCH KIT
This Extreme Duty kit includes a sprung hub organic clutch disc with an xtreme pressure plate. Torque capacity: 386 lb/ft Best suited for highly modified
street/race turbo/nitrous modified Accords
Thes are one of the few which actually offer load ratings.
They have to pretty confident of their product.

Go with the best you can afford my friend, no need having 300HP if you cant get it to the tires, agreed. The six puck sounds good to me, most folks here in JDM land use twin plate but when just driving around town, they make a lot of noise, I think it attracts the ladies though.
I am running a stage 2 competition clutch on my daily boosted accord. It has lasted a year and still runs strong as hell.
exedy and act are two reliable clutch manufactures ... i have a act clutch kit ... it can hold 278 lbs of torque ... i dont need it but i will when i boost ... basically just get whatever suits your future build

I see a Eclutchmasters thats pretty cheap includes
Stage II Racing Heavy Duty 2100LBS Pressure Plate
Stage II 6 Puck Ceramic Sprung Racing Disc
Of coarse ebay item, I am on a budget
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...53626
Says it hold up to 350-400 HP/TORQUE and 60% more pressure increase over stock.
Anyone ever use or heard about eclutchmaster clutchs?

There's no shame being on a budget; and EBay items can be viable.
I've found (however) that EBay items are often production run seconds, and obsolete units (last years version), but again they do work.
I'm personally not aware of EClutchmasters. You may find that it is a repackaged clutch set.

Thanks man, i did alittle more research i seen nothing but good things so far but theres not to much on them. From what im hearing they use the same material as act from what they are saying. worth a shot i think im going to order one.
Japan is very big on selling obsolete units (last years version) very cheap compared to their brand new next year version, its still new, never been used but maybe been sitting on a shelf for about two years. Unfortunetly, new is expensive and obsolete may just be an O.K. price, but many times its a great price to us here because we are used to the normal expensive pricing here in JDM land.
hey p_adams you said repackaged as in two different brands into on "kit"? i seen those on ebay ACT Pressure plate but F1 racing disc clutch, i said NEXT nice try!
Im running a Centerforce clutch and love it !! When the time comes i def will be getting another to replace my current clutch.
I have had an ACT and Clutchmasters... IMO Centerforce is hands down the best clutch ive had in my car. The ACT felt like pressing in a 50 lb pedal while the Clutchmasters was a little lighter but just had too much grab for a daily driver.

When I say repackage, I mean taking an existing product and selling it under a different name. If it was originally packaged with pressure Plate x and Clutch disc y, more than likely you'll get Pressure Plate x and clutch disc y; unless it's some greedy &*^%$ putting a cheap replacement clutch disc in place of the good one.
Happens all the time with EBay cell phones.
replace the 1000mah oem battery with a cheapo 700mah, sell the phone and resell the oem battery as a high capacity for good money.
Why not autoparts?

it all depends on what pressure plate you get with your kit ... mine feels just like a stock clutch i didnt want to get a stiff one ... here in the city where traffic doesnt sleep ... my brothers have had centerforce ... they were popular back in the day i guess

Smart brothers...
Every clutch i purchased was rated for approx or the same HP. I still stand strongly w. my opinion about centerforce
(but knowing my luck the clutch will prob blow out tonight
)
How did your brothers like their centerforce clutches ?
OP here is a good link to help you decide which clutch would be good for you. http://centerforce.com/clutche...types
