Default f22a to f22b

i got a 94 accod with a f22b in it and the motors locked up.. my buddy has a 94 accord with a f22a.. can i just bolt his engine to my tranny and will it run... wats the difference between the 2...

thats a good question it might work im not really sure though you should look up the tread patterns on each of the blocks and see if the tranny will line up

What F22 versions are we talking here F22B? 1 or 2 and F22A? 1,2,3,4 or 6 They will physically bolt up with no problem. Other than that all you have to make sure is that Your 94 is an F22B2 SOHC non VTEC and that the F22A isn't an A6 with IAB's.
