Default Stock Axle strength ??

What powerband do oem 5th gen axles usually take a **** for those of you with experience ? Ordering DSS 5.9's in a couple weeks but have priorities before them. Gonna be in the mid 500 range so I know they are toast already, just hoping for a little bit of street use..

i cant speak on stock 5th gen axles, but i know a few people who have run cheap autozone axles on 500+ hp civics. its just a hassle running to autozone to cash in on the lifetime warranty after a 7000 rpm clutch drop.

my friend runs OEM axles on a 10.19 K swap and is fine, wheel hop is what usually breaks your axles, get some traction bars and your'e good to go

Drive right and even 600+ hp with a 4 puck and slicks is fine, just look at Greg H and MD23VTEC's cars! Both of them on stock axles and 600+ at the wheels! And last I knew, Oaksracing is going back to stock axle setup as well.

this is the same thing that i've heard time and time again. buy two sets of autozone axles and return them when they explode...

Its usually poor driving that breaks them........
Ive seen OEM axles snap with 175whp on street tires and also have seen 3-400whp guys launching for years with them!
90% Driver 10% Axle
It also has to do with condition of them overall.......
