Now why do you think honda engineers decided to use ITR/CTR valvesprings instead of plain old GSR valvesprings. Granted, ITR/CTR Exhaust springs are the same as GSR Intake springs, why do you think they beefed up the Intake springs? Find another tuner, sounds like your current one is a half asser.

there are alot of people who have ran itr/ctr cams on stock gsr valvetrain as long as your sticking to the stock gsr redline of 8200. I ran ctr cams with stock valvetrain for 6 years with over 90k put on them.

at the very minimum upgrade your springs to dual on both sides. move the gsr in. springs to the ex. side and get itr intake springs. the car will rev smoother to redline and you wont have to worry about it.

Should not have a problem. I ran itr cams on my gsr motor until I felt the need for more power.

For $160 you can have a brand new set of Supertech Dual springs. Why in the hell would you risk dropping a valve(s) to save $160?

People are saying as long as you stick to the stock redline you'll be fine, what if your miss shift, do you really want to risk your motor?

Buy a $20 repair manual, and learn, or search on here and learn for free. The tool to replace your valvesprings while the head is still on the car is only like $50-60 from ebay. Or just save yourself the $320 that you would have spent on springs and labor but don't go crying when you drop a valve and blow your motor and have to spend a grand or more to rebuild it, you've been warned.
