brake light wont turn off on a DA
i just bought a clean stock one owner DA, left if at home parked, came home from work to start figuring out what im going to do with it first then realized my brake lights was turned on without the switched being on. for some reason it just wont go off without unplugging the battery? what could it be? also its overheating but in switching out the thermostat and check the hoses rightnow, so any ideas or opinion from h-t would be great ritenow. will post pics later.
ifffff I remember correctly, when you press your brake pedal, you also depress a small switch that's right above it I think, might be that it sticks. If I'm wrong, please correct me.
More likely than the switch is the little plastic contact on the pedal assembly. It's what makes contact with the switch, and is known to break after 15 years. They're like $2 at Honda, and they're the same for any model
