I copied this from the 92-2000 civic forum, thought I might get more response here.

I have a 96 Granada Black Pearl EX coupe. I recently bought a new bumper and had it painted NH-503P. The bumper is in no way the same color as the car. Did a search on Granada Black Pearl here on HT and people said its supposed to have red/gold flake in it, seems like my bumper only has the red flake in it. Does the amount of coats affect the way the flake shows up? Can a paint code change? The search I did was bringing up results from 2004 and people saying NH-503P has red/gold flake in it. Im just confused and need some help cause I have no idea what this color should look like. Thanks in advance.

Yes!

And you can have a **** load of shades of the same color. Things like: coats, psi, ect. Change the shade of the color

 

so I dont understand why im having such a difference of color? All I see in my bumper paint is red flake, NO gold or green flake.
