Default Can I ground my Knock Sensor with this method?

Hey guys,

My knock sensors busted... i've decided since i'm going hondata with a p28, i'm not going to bother swapping a new one in (I JUST replaced the coolant w/ the hondata gasget).

In the meantime, can i just ground the wire that connects to the knock sensor to get rid of the CEL? I dont really wanna splice into the wire since i'll eventually install the knock sensor (if i ever go back to stock to sell). I was wondering if i could somehow ground the wire through the existing harness clip.

thanks

Never thought about that......have you bothered hooking a Voltmeter up to it to see if it sends anything?

If not ground it and see what happens........
