Default 60-1 or 62-1 which one?

I have a little question guys. Looking to upgrade my turbo, but I dont know which one would benifit my car more. My options are 60-1 turbo probably with a P-trim, big shaft, hi-fi, BB, or 62-1, P-trim with .84 exhaust trim, BB. What would be better? Looking to push 550whp (for now) for STREET use and sometimes track use. This would be mated on a gsr with 10.1 comp.

Suggestions? Looking for some info.

Thanks

yeah, that will never happen.(550 hsp on pump gas)

anyway, sounds like the car will mostly see the street so i'd run the run the ball bearing 60-1.

Yes, the car will mostly see street time, however it will be running on 110 octane from sunoco (cam2). Offcourse the 550whp will be at the track at higher boost, I wouldnt want 550whp on the street. What I meant was 550whp at the track, but I want a turbo that is capable of making 550whp, while still decent on the street. On the street it will be on lower boost level.

If you're keeping it mostly street driven, i recommend going with the 60-1.

a 60-1 should be able to produce 550 hp...but again this is what i gather from other people so don't take my word for it...

I know a 60-1 will make 550whp but at the same time, for the future, I dont want the turbo to be maxed out when I decide to give it more boost. What the max Hp can the 60-1 make?

TIA

from what i read around 600HP or so.... maybe u should go with the bigger turbo? With the 60-1 the spool up time will be a bitch aready on a t60-1 .63 ar...can't imagine anything that much higher that could be tolerable for street.

PS: actually the best bet is to talk to your tuner...i can't imagine 550hp being an easily accomplished task without a good tuner.

Acutally the spool on a 60-1 is pretty fast if you have it setup the right way. Drove some 60-1's around that spool up at 3k on a 1.8, 10:1 comp. So I'm not worried about spool up time.
