Ran out of adjustment on my clutch cable
I recently installed a transmission in the beater and I ran into an abnormal situation I have never encountered before. I am getting 3-4" of slack at the lever for the clutch cable. I have so much slack that I run out of adjustment when the clutch finally sees pressure. The engine and clutch are out of a 95 civic dx and the tranny is a dx cable tranny. I tried starting it up and moving it but it wouldn't even go into gear when in neutral and starting in gear would propel the car. I guess the pressure plate isn't getting enough push.
Anyone ever had this happen? I'm thinking of buying a HASport D series hydro mount kit and mounting my 80XXXkm 2000 civic ex tranny. If anyone has used that kit before drop me some info or pics.

im confused you have the hydro clutch in there or the original one? what flywheel and clutch you got you use the one that goes with the trans so you have cable you use cable everything including flywheel...
The clutch is from the 95 civic, including flywheel. The spline fit fine so I figured it was the same clutch. I'll have to check part numbers to make sure they are indeed different. The adjustment bolt on the clutch pedal is all the way out (taking up as much slack).
