Default A Few Customer Cars

Both of these cars were pretty dirty for barely being driven. He has a Ford Escape as a daily which will be done in the next week or so. Anyway, here are the pics, comments welcome

Here are the pictures of the Shelby, had to move the car around in the driveway to get it out of the sun, so if the orientation seems off, this is why

Cleaned door jams

Applying some Menzerna's

After

No more bugs

Final thoughts...I've got none, other than that Ford should stop putting vinyl racing stripes on cars that cost 60k+

Word...
Porter Cable 7424 Random Orbital Dual Action Buffer/Polisher
Menzerna polishes/foam/wool pads
Pinnacle Swirl Remover (For hand waxing, Menzerna's stuff leaves no swirls)
Nu Polish/Royal Blue Wax
An all purpose cleaner with magic erasers for stains and such on panels
Turtle Wax carpet cleaner
Mother's Back To Black for plastic trim pieces (Thanks Tony & James for showing me this)
Soft Spray (for interior trim)
Clay Magic Fine Grade Claybar
Simoniz Leather Treatment/Shine
Simoniz Soap Concentrate

My tire shine I had broke (bottle head snapped) so I used the Back to Black in two coats. Worked pretty well when using an applicator sponge.
After washing, I applied a coat of intensive mernzerna polish with a wool pad, followed by a coat of menzerna micro polish with a foam light cutting pad. Everything else was pretty easy/common sense to do.

Nice results.

I just ordered 7424 from Griots. My car needs some serious detailing.

Wow..I dont know much about the Meguiar's but the Power Gloss is a pretty aggressive compound. Are you sure the clear coat isnt gone?

Good results. I'm not too fond of the greasy looking interior, but exterior looks great.

Thats the thing, the simoniz leather treatment doesn't really make it shiny even thought it says it does. The seats were shiny pre-detail

yea the clearcoat is still there... nothing wrong with it... maybe its just some swirls underneath the clear (if that's even possible). oh well, guess ill just repaint it a color besides black

yea...quite possibly if it was recleared or something before you got it, the clear coat wasnt sanded or at the very least swirl removed
