My car 6th gen si makes a pshhhhh sound in between 4-5krpm and the car bogs alittle then it is back to normal after i reach 5.5k rpm.Anyone have any ideas the sound it makes is liek a sucking sound or a blow type noise its like wunnnnn shhhhh wunnn whenever i am driving.But it only makes that noise every once and a while.

any ideas of what it might be?

Sounds like it maybe the AEM CAI . But... if it's boggin'... hmm.. check for exhaust leaks.

 

The only thing that I know of that would make that sound would be your CAI, but it's more of a whistle than a pssshhh. Check if there are cracks or anything else on your intake/intake manifold.

 

leave your engine on, pop the hood up, push the throttle in, and listen to where it's coming from. you digs? lols. that way it'll be easier to pinpoint or describe the problem.
