Code 116???

Default Code 116???

I have a 90 crx dx that wont start. Its flashing 1 long and 16 shorts. can you tell me wats the problem?

theres no such thing as code 116 long blinks are 10 and short blinks are 1

I thought these obd0 cars didn't do the tens and ones deal, my car just blinks out the exact count. For example when I throw code 17 I get 17 blinks

Code 1 is o2 and 16 is fuel injectors. Have you tried to reset the ecu.

Check timing. Or see if the injector plug is plugged in. One in front and one in back. Do you know if your getting fuel at all?

90 DX, if it has the factory ECU, does not have long and short blinks, only short

To reset the ecu just disconnect the battery for 30 sec.

the long blink indicates that the count will go back to 1.

ex: 1-2-3-4-long-1-2-3-4

long and short blinks dont exist on obd0 ecus.

is the ecu chipped? cuz some times that can make it blink funny if its not done exactly right
