JDM ITR headlight condensation problem!.
I made a thread a couple weeks ago about condensation build up in my front right JDM ITR headight. Few people told me to take a hair dryer and slowly warm up all the water until it vanished. So i gave it a try, and it fixed the problem for about a day and all the condensation came back. I dont plan on hair drying my headlight everyday. So i took the headlight out and examined it for any cracks or any signs of not sealing properly and everything looks fine, but there obviously has to be some type or whole/crack/non-seal that is allowing water in. Anyone know how to fix this problem a more effecient way? Thanksss in advance with any help!
your gona prolly think this is not right but it works!!! I did it with alot of my cars and even on my M3... Drill a hole on top to vent and a hole on the bottom....the top to vent and the bottom for any water to get out.
Trust me it works!
P.S. dont drill the holes where they will be seen.

You obviously have a leak somewhere. Dry them out again and find the leak and seal it with a sealer. I would never drill holes in my headlights and would rather bake them and completely reseal them before I took a drill to them.
Yeah ive dried them out sitting here in the room, how should i find the leak? its obviously pretty small bc ive examined it closely and have yet to find aything...?

You can send out the headlights to Customlightz, one of expo 8 sponsors. They can fix the problem by taking the lights apart and resealing them. And, yes, they will look oem when you get em back.

my friends have opened and resealed their headlights after painting them...granted they did this on their 350zs....
but they just put it in the oven and then popped the lenses apart...
PM me if you want me to ask them the specifics

Not a bad suggestion if you were looking to have an OEM HID retrofit done on the car. Check them out. http://www.customlightz.com
