Has anyone done it or heard of anyone that has successfully swap a h23Dohc from 97+ lude into a 94-97 accord????

 

The H23 never came in the 5th gen Preludes...

 

5th gens are h22 vtec's. but yes people swap H's into accords all the time its a common swap look for it in the accord section

 

Yea, an H23 vtec isn't a Prelude engine. You could put an H23 (non-vtec) from a 92-96 lude in an accord.. if you wanted to.

 

are you talking about H23 Vtec motors that came on the EDM Accord Wagons?

 

He posted this in the Accord section as well.

He is referring to the Bluetop H23's that were in the wagons.

 

thanks for mention that. I was just wondering is anyone has done it or have heard of it. My h22 went out on me so I was debating on getting another h22 or h23 blue top euro DM. If the money is worth it for the 20 HP differences.

I have an all motor tunned already for h22 but if I buy the h23, I have to pay another 300.00 dollars for tuning and if I buy another h22 then i don't need to have it retune.


That's my problem.
