The Kenwood KAC-7203 is a 2 channel amp. you will want a 4 ohm load with the amplifier when bridging mono to run a subwoofer. It will supply 500W bridged into a 4 ohm load, plenty for a single 10"-12" or a pair if your feeling like rattling fillings. A stereo amp bridged to a single mono channel will "see" half the actual impedance of the driver(s), aiming for a 4 ohm load, you can use a single 4 ohm driver, 2 8 ohm drivers in parallel, single dual 2 ohm voice coil in series, etc.

Exactly!

It does depend on your expectations, so IMO:

I would get 2- 8" or 10" subs. You can get 2- SVC 8 ohm subs, 2- DVC 4 ohm subs(series/parallel). Look for a pair that needs LESS than 500watts RMS. It will allow the amp to run cooler. Like 2- jl 8w1v2-8. They require 300watts RMS a pair and can take more. Subs will have enough power, will sound great, and will not be maxing out the amp. There are many others but specify what you want it to sound like(SQ or SPL), what kind of space you want them to fit in, and how much is your budget.

A single 10" woofer in a correctly sized slot-ported box. As long as your radio has a sub control you will be happy.
