I cant decide on a clutch
i am running a mini me with a greddy turbo kit and before i pull the trigger on buying a clutch i wanted to know if the clutch masters fx200 is worthy of running or should i go with something else THANKS ......... all opinions apreciated
The clutchmaster fx 200 is a great clutch, the bonus of the fx200 over the fx100 is the Kevlar will last a long time, otherwise they have the same holding capacity, should be good to hold around 75 ft/lbs over stock and 100hp over stock on a turbo engine. if that’s not enough try the Fx300, I have one and it works great, feels like stock and holds 200 ft/lbs and 300hp with no signs of trouble.

too expensive when compared to what others offer imo. I would also suggest the CM FX300 unless you plan on making closer to 400whp or drag racing on slicks often...

how do you figure that? $314 is less expensive than CM

I'd say go with a stage 4 competition clutch. Thats what im using right now with my setup and it sticks really well without sacrificing daily drivability. I've heard many good things about act clutches aswell http://www.tunertoys.com/categ...ck=50

ACT seems to be hit or miss, people either love or hate them, the pedal pressure is really high on them and i have seen them die VERY quickly but i have also seen some people have great luck with them, i personally will stay away.
