fuel pressure problem?
my 1990 accord wont start right away when first started. if i cycle the fuel pump once then it starts right away. this only happens in the morning then good for the rest of the day. any sug?
The Master Relay (that funky dual duty thingie) may possibly be on the way out.
While it traditionally seems to fail during unbearably hot days, it does supply power to two critical components.
The ECM (Engine Brain Box as some recyclers like to call it)
The Fuel Pump.
During the start-up proceedure the pump's actuated via the ignition switch thru the
Master Relay. Once it's running, the pump is actuated by (as I recall) the Oil Pressure sensor switch.
