i have a d15b7 block with a y8 head and y8 mani. and my friend is selling me a sknuk2 intake mani with a ls fuel rail and ls throttle body.
but i read somewhere that the y8 mani is better. is it true? or should i just buy the throttle body and fuel rail from him?

i have a z6 n/a s2 pro series manifold and just switched it on m old turbo z6 hatch (had the stock mani) and i noticed a better throttle response and i thought it was better. I've heard stories of them hurting cars that was straight n/a. I wouls say go y8 manifold. With the s2 manifold you need longer vacuum and coolant lines because the manifold is longer and under acceleration it can rub against the firewall

 

so do you think that i should just buy the throttle body and fuel rail?

 

id just get the throttle body. Ive had a blox intake mani and i couldnt really tell a difference between my y8. This was on a turbo z6.

 

id just save ur money and stay with what you got.
