Default Honest opinions on wheel boots.

Good? Bad? Waste of $$? Completely shady??

I know that a wheel boot that does NOT cover//protect the lug nuts is just a 1 minute delay in a thiefs mind.

So tell me what's really good? I don't mind spending a little either, but nothing crazy. I've seen them range from about $80 to about $200. I got a few buddies that rock them and they luuvvvv it.

This one here looks bangin, too bad my car is black and this thing might as well be a damn strobe light show yellow.

Kind of a pain in the *** to have to install and remove, re: pissing down rain and you in your glad rags on a hot date.
It would prevent the car from being driven away, but so would a simple well hidden $3 1A on/off "kill" switch. 94

I wouldn't mind spending the 30 seconds it takes to put it on each time I got out of my car, I'd only put it on during times such as...

parking lots
school (college)
parking garages ect..

I have an alarm already. Prestige APS 596.

I just want that "extra" assurance that no one is going to drive my **** away. And towing it would be a longer process too. And the link I provided is for a boot that DOES cover the lug nuts, so no ******* who may have been plotting to take my **** would bring another wheel with him knowing it only takes a thief.. what.. 2 minutes or less to get the wheel off and a new one on.

But in that 2 minutes, hopefully someone will see what's going on and do something or notice it. Who knows?

Just looking for some opinions.
