Default Omni Testpipe...compatibility?

Ok...so ive been looking for a test pipe and omni is the only one that is avaiable. HAs anyone evr used one before? There are two different ones, a JDM spec and Usdm Spec one. what are the differences? Also... can they be used with JDM h22a motors?

Any info about these for preludes is greatly appreciated.

Please do not casue arguements here. I know alot of you are against test pipes, and say get a high flow cat but thats not an option for me. Also no need to say go to an exhuast shop and have them make one, cuz where i live most of those places do crap weld jobs and within 6 months they break and leak.

your causing the arugements for polluting the planet worse for almost no reason. The gains are minimal. Some one needs to show dyno proof of what a good high flowing performance cat can do comprared to a gutted cat.

If its the cost thats your issue, I understand your situation. But make sure your not doing it for the performance gain you'd think you'd get.

Most test pipes are the same anyway. You get what you pay for. If they are cheap they will break inside and rattle like a bastard. I went with a magnaflow universal and welded my flanges on it from my old cat to make it bolt on. The only work you need done at the shop (if you don't have a welder, I did) is getting them to weld the flanges on. Its always nice to have it bolt on, and stay that way.

no no... the issue is not money.thats why im so interested in the omni test pipe. Believe me i know that the power gains are minimal, if any at all. Ok..hope were past the "lets be environmental" BS, lets just stick to the topic. But thanks for the FYI.

Oh and ive looked for one of those ebay ones, but it seems they arent sold on ebay anymore. idk.

well.. if you decide not to refer to it as "B.S" we'll move on a bit easier. Atlest try to act like you care, so people here might care in return to help you with your questions.

But anyways, back to your topic. If you know that the gains are minimal regardless what test pipe you use, whats the issue? You want it bolt on by the sounds of it. I would assume if you have an h22a jdm motor, the jdm spec one would fit. If you have a usdm motor, the us spec would fit.

Either way you can get any cat to fit any setup with the proper flanges. worst case scenerio as I already said, buy the proper flanges (and note that both sides are NOT the same bolt pattern) and have a shop weld them onto your selected cat than bolt it on yourself. If they can't handle that they shouldn't be even touching a welder.

I'm not sure if that answered any of your questions but I'm having trouble understanding what you want to know anyway.

yes...i want it to bolt up. that is the reason i ask about the omni. I wanted some input from people that have had experience with this product specifically. fitment and flange wise. The pics used at the omni website may not represent the actual product. Ive emailed them. if they give me any good info about this product that maybe useful to Ht.com then ill post it.

By the way, thanks for putting your 2 cents in but its not necessary to act like a tough guy on here.trying to put me in my place isnt gonna make things go any better. internet bullying is lame, just as trying to be a know it all. So Relax....

1) I'm not "acting" anything, and am NOT bullying you.
2) I don't "know all" so to act like I did would be counter productive to my learning curve
3) I'm needless to say more relaxed than you as you are getting defensive and taking what I'm saying as a personal assault on you, which I'm not intending(so sorry if thats how your taking it).

All I'm intending IN REALITY is to keep you from fuking up our planet worse than it already is by buying a gutted cat. (period)

now quit focusing your comments on me. I don't know the info your looking for, and am sorry about that. Good luck man,
