Hello everyone, i own a 1998 Civic EXR with abs, (EXR was the denomination for EX's in Mexico), and i have a problem with my brake booster, it makes a noise while the engine is working, the noise sounds like the air is escaping from the booster, i have a spare booster from a 1994 civic lx sedan, my civic has abs and i want to know if this spare booster will fit and work fine on my EX, by the way, my master cylinder is working fine, no leaks. Your help will be much apreciated.

 

If the LX had ABS then yes, otherwise no, the ears on the mounting flange of the master cylinder are a mirror image of each other between the ABS and non ABS models.
