Default B18C5 in Del Sol?

Hi from Germany!

just a short question:
is it hard to put a b18c5 in a 94 Del Sol VTec?

Someone told me the mount would fit, but the rest?

Thanx

It should fit very easy. If the car already has a b series in it, it should swap right in.

yes it will fit. it's already been done to a car with a d-series motor. if you've already got a b-series, it'll just make it that much easier for you.

no big problems pay i don't know ITR motors might be cheap in Europe and biggest problem would be vtec wiring that is if the sol doesn't have it already

He said the car was a del sol VTEC, so it even has a b- series motor. There will bo no real motor work to be done, just pull out the b16, and transfer all the brackets, accessories, etc, to the b18. The only thing you need to worry about is the OBD2 wiring, consult someone who has done this already. I have not.

see if you can get a chipped P28 ECU from the member here by the name of Kenji, I dont know how long it will take to arrive to you by mail to Europe, but that is the way to go about running an ITR OBD2 motor in a OBD1 car.... just ask B18C5-EH2 !!!!
