could a ep3...
with a few basic bolt ons keep up with a type s?
just wondering...im in the market for a either a ep3 or dc5...i kinda like the ep3's a bit more but the lack of power bugs me just a bit...any help would be great.

What do you mean by a few bolt ons? cai/header/exhaust? if so then nope...
you are going to have to go cai, race header, exhaust, k-pro and possibility of cams...with these you'll be close to either hang for a bit, lose by a small bit or win by a small bit...but this is against a stock type S...
Why not just buy a EP and turbo it or swap?

I beat a type-s once, but I caught him sleeping when the light turned and at the next light he began to tell me how he just learned to drive stick the other day haha.

Choose the body you like, then make it what you want are far as speed, handling, etc (assuming it has the potential).

Go with the EP3, I think it is the best all around platform (of cars u listed) if you plan on doing any kind of work or upgrades to ur car.

i think the hp rating for the ep3 is a little off. When i first got my ep i raced my firneds rebuilt 170.3 hp b18c teg and kept up right next to him the whole time untill 5th gear. 150hp is a little low to say i think. but that;s just me
