dont take **** wrong, but i think that last post was wrong section as for this, dont go v6. depending on how much you want to spend, go with a dx accord w/a manual tranny and do a engine swap. if not go ahead and get the ex, and build it up or turbo is the best options next to the search function. good luck
money wise if you want a civic, go for it, you can make them go fast. If you want an accord because its your taste, go for it, but it will take a little more determination

yea thats tru but i still want to prove some people wrong. so i shouldnt go with the ex and swap?? cause i really want all tha goodyz thae ex comes with. but yea thks alot for ur reply. oh yea one more thing i just posted up the kill story here so that the accord owners can read them.
if you have the money for an ex and a swap go ahead and do it, that was my initial plan, but other things came in the way. as i said before, good luck!! post some pics when you get your new car.

Well, I would say get a Civic, but I am biased.
Accords are cool, but the only thing that limits them vs a Civic is that you can swap just about every Honda engine into a Civic, while the Accord pretty much can only use the Prelude engine. Also, the Prelude is significantly heavier than a Civic. Anyway, the Prelude motor would have to be turbo to touch 13's, or you would have to have a LOT of money pumped into the motor to run 13's all motor. Either way, should be a sweet setup once you are done.

I would say that you should go with a 5 speed LX or DX. It's cool that you want all the luxurious goodies, but if you plan to run 13's in the Accord, you'll seriously need to make the car lighter. The EX would be too heavy, with all the power options, the sunroof, etc. as a starting point. Hell, even the LX still might be too heavy. You should start with just a base model, the DX, and lighten it from there. Especially if you are going to do the swap. The only way that I would tell you to go with the EX, is if you plan to use the EX motor, the F22B1, for the 10 or so extra horses that that motor gives over the DX/LX motor.
Also, forget the V6 for the 5th gen. While from stock it is fairly strong, there are not a lot of aftermarket parts that are currently available for it. You'll have a hard time hitting 13's in that thing. Plus, weight is also going to be a factor.

I would say get you a lx or dx and swapp a h23 prelude motor and tranny and do your usually bolt-ons and it should feel great if money is avaiable like that ,but if not buy a ex and buy : cam, v-tec controller, header, catback, and intake, flywheel and clutch for grip and quickness. Guarentee that your car will not be slow
