Is it possible to use Ls/C1 rods and pistons safely in a B16 block with a B16 crank?
Don't need any [freak]ed up answer or smart *** comment just a honest answer please

r/s x stroke= rod
1.74 x 77.4 ~ 134.68
1.56 x 87.2 ~ 136.02
The b16 block is shorter than the LS and it has shorter rods... looks like u'r pistons will be sitting out of the hole about 2 mm (guestimation). Maybe custom piston with the pin moved up would work.
IDK if the gsr rods have the same BE width as the B16 rods though..

Straight from Eagle...
B16a Rod Length - 5.290"
LS Rod Length - 5.394"
GSR rod Length - 5.430"
LS would be the closer one BUT.....
.104" = 2.64 mm higher than the normal B16 piston position
damn I was close...
c-speed calculator has the stock B16 piston as .020" under the deck. with the LS rod u will be .084" out of the hole and the OEM 3 layer headgasket is only .029" so i think the piston will hit the head....c-speed says 14.5:1 compression with b16 pistons (6 cc dome LOL)
